Though the account was created in January 2021, the first public posts were made today. The content mirrors information shared by the White House on other platforms like X, aiming to spread accurate updates and counter misinformation during these crises.

While federal officials have used Reddit in the past, this marks the first time a non-partisan White House account has been active on the platform.
