Instagram is reportedly testing a new feature that could allow users to share their Instagram post comments directly on Threads, Meta’s Twitter-like social network.

According to tech insider Alessandro Paluzzi, users commenting on an Instagram post might soon see a dropdown option to either keep the comment on Instagram or share it on Threads as well.

This potential update follows Meta's continued efforts to integrate Threads with its other platforms, such as the ability to show Threads posts on Instagram and Facebook. While Threads still lacks its own direct messaging feature, users can send messages via Instagram.

In addition to cross-platform features, Meta is slowly integrating Threads with the wider fediverse, allowing users to see replies from other fediverse platforms on their posts.
