Meta Quest 3S leaks ahead of official announcement

Meta appears to have unintentionally leaked its rumored Meta Quest 3S, a budget version of the Quest 3 headset, through its own Meta Quest Link PC software for Windows.

The leak, first spotted by UploadVR and posted on Reddit, shows a VR headset that seems to be a blend of the Quest 2 and Quest 3 designs.

The Meta Quest 3S is expected to make its official debut at the company’s Connect event, which begins on September 25. The leaked images reveal front-facing cameras in a different layout than the Quest 3, with two sets of three cameras on the front cover. The headset strap appears unchanged from previous models.

Additional leaks on social media and from listings on AliExpress have also shown images of accessories for the Quest 3S.
