Apple develops next-gen humanlike AI 'personality' beyond Siri

Apple is reportedly working on a new AI personality that aims to enhance user interaction across its future robotics devices, separate from its well-known digital assistant, Siri.

While a new Siri, enhanced with Apple Intelligence, is set to launch with iOS 18.1 later this fall, this separate AI interface is designed for future products expected to debut around 2026 or 2027.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, this new AI will be more humanlike and is part of Apple’s broader push into robotics. The move raises questions about Siri's future role and whether this new AI could eventually replace or coexist with it.
