OpenAI expands DALL-E 3 access to free ChatGPT users

OpenAI has announced that users on ChatGPT’s free tier can now generate up to two images per day using its advanced DALL-E 3 model.

Previously available only to ChatGPT Plus subscribers since its launch last year, DALL-E 3 offers enhanced features, including the ability for ChatGPT to craft detailed prompts for image creation. The new feature is rolling out gradually, with some users already able to access it.

This move is part of a busy period for OpenAI, which also includes recent updates on its GPT-4 model and changes to its board of directors.
