Adam Mosseri, the head of Threads, announced that the platform is rolling out a new feature allowing users to control who can quote their posts.

Threads, a messaging app with over 150 million monthly users, is giving users more control over their posts. With the latest update, users can now choose to allow only people they follow to quote their posts, or they can disable quoting altogether. This feature aims to promote a more positive environment on the platform.

The update comes after Threads tested the feature among a select group of users last month. Now, it is being made available to all users. Alongside this, Threads has been gradually introducing new features to enhance safety and user experience, including the Hidden Words feature for filtering out specific content out of the feeds and options for archiving posts.
