For $2,000 per month, businesses can access a "high-income knowledge worker" agent. Another agent, designed for software developers, is expected to cost $10,000 per month, making OpenAI's $200-per-month ChatGPT Pro subscription look significantly more affordable.

At the highest tier, the most expensive agent—rumored to cost $20,000 per month—is designed to assist with "PhD-level research." While details on its capabilities remain unclear, expectations are high for its ability to handle complex and specialized tasks.

There's no official launch date for these AI agents yet, but OpenAI investors are already making big commitments. SoftBank, for example, has pledged $3 billion toward OpenAI's agent products in 2025 alone.
