Twitter has begun hiring employees, according to slides from a company speech posted on Twitter by owner Elon Musk, following massive job cuts.
One of the slides, which Musk showed during a corporate meeting, said: "We're recruiting," without giving any details. Nor did Musk say when the meeting took place.
According to the slides, which show Twitter data for mid-November, the number of hateful posts on the social network has gone down, and there have been fewer reports of someone impersonating someone else.
Slides reports that a record high level of new users have signed up to the platform, averaging more than 2 million a day in the week to 16 November.
Musk also said that the number of Twitter users will be over 1 billion monthly users in a year and a half.
Musk also said that Twitter would re-launch a paid Twitter Blue subscription on Friday to verify the authenticity of the account with blue ticks.
