Google is moving ahead with its plans to launch an AI app that lets consumers create images from a text.

The app is expected to offer two features: the first called “City Dreamer” will allow constructing buildings, while the “Wobble” feature will enable interaction with a cartoon monster, Douglas Eck, a principal scientist at Google. The tools will be available through Google’s AI Test Kitchen app.

The precise release date for the new capabilities has not been announced.

Google seems to be trying to catch on other AI imaging technologies that have gained much popularity this year, like DALL-E - a programme capable of producing vivid pictures from a brief text description.
