Dubai Racing Club Announces NFT Art Collection

Dubai Racing Club has announced a release of the NFT artwork collection.

The collection is divided into three categories – "Dubai Sprinters", which will be released first, "Hall of Fame" and "DWC Runners."  They will also offer real-life benefits.

The "Dubai Sprinters" collection will include real-world deals and benefits, in addition to the metaverse project, which organisers of the Dubai World Cup plan to unveil shortly.

Dubai Racing Club Chairman Sheikh Rashid bin Dalmook Al Maktoum said racing is an integral part of Dubai and the club has come to take the sport to "a whole new level from a technological point of view."

Guided by our visionary leadership, Dubai continues to support technological innovation in various fields and today we are proud to pioneer virtual assets in the horse racing industry that offer all our fans a new way to celebrate the sport. The Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) that we are issuing can be utilised both in the real world and online.

The NFTs will be launched by Dubai Racing Club during the upcoming horse racing season at Meydan Racecourse, which begins on November 4.
