Saudi Aramco Enters the List of the World's Top 100 Innovators

Saudi Aramco has been named one of the top 100 global innovators by US think tank Clarivate.

Clarivate released a report titled "Top 100 Global Innovators 2022". Saudi Aramco was the first company from the Middle East and North Africa region to enter the list.

"Regional diversity continues to grow, with energy company Saudi Aramco making the first-ever Middle East list," Clarivate wrote in the report.

In addition to Saudi Aramco, the list also includes China's Alibaba, Germany's Continental, US-based General Motors, South Korea's Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors, US-based Philip Morris International and Britain's Rolls-Royce.

Clarivate added that the companies were included in the list based on factors such as influence, success, globalisation and technical excellence.
