Samsung introduces the Galaxy A27 5G with AI features and six years of software support

Samsung has introduced the Galaxy A27 5G, a new mid-range smartphone featuring a large AMOLED display, AI-powered tools, and long-term software support.
The Galaxy A27 5G comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The device measures 7.8 mm thick and weighs 200 grams.
It is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor and will be available in 6 GB/128 GB and 8 GB/256 GB configurations. Storage can also be expanded with a microSD card of up to 2 TB.
The smartphone features a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 5 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP macro camera. The front-facing camera has a 12 MP sensor.
Its AI features include Google's Circle to Search with multi-object recognition, an improved Object Eraser for photos, and voice transcription in the Voice Recorder app with translation into 22 languages.
The Galaxy A27 5G also supports Google Gemini and Perplexity AI assistants. Samsung says the AI features are more deeply integrated with Galaxy apps, including the Gallery.
The device is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 25 W fast charging. It also comes with IP64 protection, Samsung Knox Vault, Android 16, and One UI 8.5.
Samsung promises up to six generations of Android and One UI upgrades, along with six years of security updates from the device's global launch.
The Galaxy A27 5G will go on sale on July 3 and will be available in black, blue, and pink.
