OpenAI Expands Deep Research Mode to All Paid Subscriptions

OpenAI has announced that Deep Research mode, designed for in-depth research on any topic, is now available to ChatGPT Plus, Team, Edu, and Enterprise subscribers.

Deep Research Mode Request Limits:

  • Plus, Team, Edu, and Enterprise subscribers now get 10 requests per month.
  • Pro subscribers can now use 120 requests per month (previously 100).

Deep Research mode was first introduced in February 2025 but was initially exclusive to Pro subscribers with a 100-request limit. With this expansion, OpenAI is making the tool more widely accessible to a broader audience.
