iPhone Air 2 renders show rumored lavender design and second camera

Insider Jon Prosser has published renders showing what could be the design of the iPhone Air 2 in a new lavender color. The original video is available on YouTube.

Treat these images with caution: they are not real leaks but renders based on rumors. Prosser’s track record with Apple leaks is mixed, though some of his past claims have been accurate.

The renders show a second rear camera next to the existing main module. According to Prosser, both sensors will be 48MP, with one of them serving as an ultra-wide camera. He also claims the body will remain titanium and just as thin as the current iPhone Air.

Prosser also mentions an A20 Pro chip with a WMCM, or wafer-level multi-chip module, architecture. In this design, the RAM module is placed outside the main processor die, which should help improve heat dissipation.

The insider expects the new model to cost around $50 more than the current generation.
