Google Pixel 11a could bring Tensor G6 back to the A-series

Google may equip the upcoming Pixel 11a with the new Tensor G6 chip, the same processor expected to power the flagship Pixel 11 lineup.

According to leaker Mystic Leaks, the device could also feature:

  • a Titan M3 security chip,
  • PowerVR C-Series CXTP-48-1536 graphics,
  • a MediaTek M90 modem,
  • 8 GB of RAM.

If accurate, Google would return to using its latest-generation Tensor chip in the more affordable A-series. The Pixel 10ashipped with the older Tensor G4 instead of the Tensor G5. The leak also mentions a new front-facing camera, codenamed Dokkaebi.

The Pixel 11a is also expected to feature a 6.3-inch display with a 1080×2424 resolution and a 60–120Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness could increase to 3,350 nits, while battery capacity may drop slightly from 5,000 mAh to 4,870 mAh.

Internally codenamed Formosan, the phone is rumored to launch in Obsidian, Fog, Olive, and Frost color options. Google is expected to unveil the Pixel 11a as early as March next year.
